[The effect of polychlorinated biphenyls on the eye].

The author describes ophthalmological symptoms of intoxication with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB). These symptoms develop already in the initial stage of the intoxication and their frequency and severity depend of the blood concentration of polychlorinated biphenyls. Ophthalmological and biochemical examination of a group exposed to polychlorinated biphenyls revealed a higher incidence of the described symptoms of "PCB intoxication".
