Recently, some groups including ours found that some ganglioside species could specifically modulate the certain protein kinase activities on the cell surface membrane. We show here two representative cases. One is the ganglioside-dependent modulation of autophosphorylation of EGF or PDGF receptors, by which altered the cell growth. Another is the ganglioside dependent ecto-type protein kinase activities on the cell surface of a human neuroblastoma cell line, GOTO. The latter activities may be closely correlated with the ganglioside GQ1b dependent neuritogenesis.
最近,包括我们在内的一些研究小组发现,某些神经节苷脂能够特异性调节细胞膜表面的某些蛋白激酶活性。在此我们展示两个典型案例。一个是神经节苷脂依赖的表皮生长因子(EGF)或血小板衍生生长因子(PDGF)受体的自磷酸化调节,借此改变细胞生长。另一个是在人神经母细胞瘤细胞系GOTO的细胞表面存在神经节苷脂依赖的胞外型蛋白激酶活性。后者的活性可能与神经节苷脂GQ1b依赖的神经突生长密切相关。
