BACKGROUND
Penoscrotal lymphedema (scrotal elephantiasis) is a condition that has been described in areas in which filariasis is endemic.
CASE REPORT
This paper presents a case of a 45-year-old man with idiopathic lymphedema isolated to the scrotum. After acquired causes of lymphedema were ruled out, the patient was treated with scrotectomy and penoscrotal reconstruction. Currently, the patient is receiving follow-up care without evidence of recurrence.
CONCLUSIONS
Penoscrotal lymphedema may cause symptoms of weakness, immobility and emotional disturbance. Surgery procedure provides a satisfactory cosmetical and functional outcome.

阴茎阴囊淋巴水肿（阴囊象皮肿）是一种在丝虫病流行地区有描述的病症。
病例报告
本文介绍了一名45岁男性特发性阴囊孤立性淋巴水肿的病例。在排除了后天性淋巴水肿病因后，该患者接受了阴囊切除术和阴茎阴囊重建术。目前，患者正在接受随访护理，无复发迹象。
结论
阴茎阴囊淋巴水肿可能导致虚弱、行动不便和情绪障碍等症状。手术治疗可提供令人满意的美容和功能效果。
