The work presents data of 25 patients with wounds of the heart and pericardium. Clinical diagnostics, tactics and results of treatment are described. Attention is called to the importance of the method of thoracoscopy in determination of the character of injuries. To improve results of the treatment of this group of patients, the work of the emergency aid must use resuscitation-surgical teams, admittance of the patients to specialized departments for thoracal traumas.
