We present a case of a young man with severe hypothermia on the basis of a large craniopharyngeoma. He had been psychologically peculiar since the age of six and had deteriorated dramatically since his late teens. Craniopharyngeomas are slowly developing benign tumours but they can cause severe damage to the neuroendocrinological systems or hypothalamus causing a wide range of symptoms including psychiatric disorders and hypothermia. Intracraniel neoplasms should be considered as a differential diagnosis in cognitive dysfunction in the young or in acute hypothermia.
我们报告一例基于巨大颅咽管瘤导致严重体温过低的年轻男性病例。他自六岁起性格就有些古怪，从十几岁后期起病情急剧恶化。颅咽管瘤是缓慢发展的良性肿瘤，但它们可对神经内分泌系统或下丘脑造成严重损害，从而引发包括精神障碍和体温过低在内的一系列症状。对于年轻人的认知功能障碍或急性体温过低，应将颅内肿瘤视为鉴别诊断的考虑因素。
