Abstract
The recent demolition of the Capouillet house, which sheltered the Institute of Botany of the ULB is the occasion to evoke the successive holders of the courses of plant biology at the Fauclty of Medicine. Some of them were famous botanists who, as pioneers, renewed their field with dynamism and competence.
