[Phylogenetic relations between frit fly groups from the genus Meromyza based on genetic and morphological analysis].

Phylogenetic relations between groups of frit fly species from the genus Meromyza were studied on the mtDNA COI locus and on the morphology of the male reproductive apparatus. Branching of the phylogenetic tree constructed by the Neighbor-Joining method unites sequences of samples from species of the genus Meromyza in five clusters with high support. It was demonstrated that joining of species in a certain cluster corresponds to uniformity of morphological traits of male parameres.
