This is an attempt of precise definition of the notion "drive disorders". An original definition is offered which differentiated these from related states. Based on the analysis of 76 clinical investigations, some general age-related features were found in the clinical pictures of the disorders, the systematics of their course was given, the criteria of expert evaluation derived. The relation of drive disorders to other adolescent psychopathology was stressed.
