Hematological malignancies are more frequent in elderly patients. Treatment efficacy has been improved during the last decade. Long term remission can be achieved.The challenge is to identify elderly patients illegible for a curative treatment.This highlights the role of geriatric involvement in the management of patients with hematological malignancies.
