[Angiographic criteria in the determination of indications for organ-preserving surgery in renal artery occlusion].

According to the data of angiography, performed in 63 patients with occlusion of the renal artery, the additional ultrasound scanning being perfgrmed in some of them, the indications for the organ-preserving treatment have been developed. They are: the longitudinal kidney size of more than 9 cm, its regular outline, presence of collaterals. The involvement of the distal third of a kidney has negative effect on preservation of kidney viability.
