The study of the endothelial repercussion of radial keratotomy has been done on 33 corneas of 21 non human primates, using Scanning Electronic Microscope. Various lesions has been observed; the relationship between these lesions and the surgery parameters have been studied. One can conclude that the lesions are constant; their severity is related to the number and the depth of the incisions; as for their evolution, they do not seem to worsen with time during the experimental study (1 hour to 18 months).
利用扫描电子显微镜对21只非人灵长类动物的33只角膜进行了放射状角膜切开术的内皮影响研究。观察到了各种病变；研究了这些病变与手术参数之间的关系。可以得出结论，这些病变是持续存在的；其严重程度与切口的数量和深度有关；至于其演变，在实验研究期间（1小时至18个月），它们似乎不会随时间恶化。
