Abstract
A simple surgical method of eminoplasty has been described that is rapid and has few complications. Its value in the treatment of recurrent dislocation of the mandible is now well established. Whether the procedure works by providing greater freedom of motion or by limitation is a moot point as the operation is highly successful.
