In order to verify the practical usefulness and certain features of puncture-aspiration with fine needle of the prostate gland, a study and evaluation of our personal experience on 400 cytological samples was undertaken. A cyto-histological correlation was done on 130 of them. Excellent results were obtained relating sensitivity (97.14%), specificity (98.33%), efficacy (97.69%) and predictability indices. It was concluded that this was a non-aggressive, simple and quick procedure, which proved to be very economical and with a high degree of diagnostic accuracy.
为验证前列腺细针穿刺抽吸术的实际效用及某些特点，我们对400份细胞学样本的个人经验进行了研究与评估。其中130份样本进行了细胞组织学相关性分析。在敏感性（97.14%）、特异性（98.33%）、有效性（97.69%）及预测指数方面均取得了优异结果。得出的结论是，这是一种非侵入性、简单且快速的操作，事实证明其非常经济且诊断准确性高。
