The authors describe their experience in surgical treatment of fresh injuries of the interior lateral ligament in 25 patients, in 15 of whom autoplasty of the injured ligament was performed by making use of the tendon of musculus semitendinosus which was shifted without being cut off into the projection of the ligament location and sewn to the joint capsule by interrupted sutures.
