After an insight into the physiologic sinuatrial stimulus conduction the most important cardiac rhythm disturbances in the dog are described by means of ECG examples. The successful use of antiarrhythmic drugs depends on both the type of rhythm disturbance and the underlying clinical disorder with its prognostic evaluation.
