Diagnostic imaging of trauma to the ankle and foot: IV. Fractures of the calcaneus.

Drs. Mitchell et al. provide a valuable radiologic perspective of trauma to the ankle and foot. This review is divided into six parts. The previous presentations involved ankle fractures, ligamentous injuries, and trauma to the talus. Subsequent dialogues will consist of midfoot and forefoot injuries. Plain x-ray films, as well as sophisticated studies, will assist in recognizing these conditions.
