Abstract
The present paper discusses the etiopathogenesis and the clinical course of osteogenesis imperfecta. Following an outline of the basic principles of treatment in general traumatology, observations made in one own case are described, where a patient with osteogenesis imperfecta had suffered a fracture of the mandible and could be successfully restored to stable function.
