Statistical processing, carried out by the characteristic intervals method, of the results of serologic tests for syphilis in 48 patients with latent syphilis and in 191 patients with false-positive serologic tests has revealed specific and relatively specific intervals of the titers of anti-Treponema antibodies, precipitines and reagines; these intervals make possible a tentative differential diagnosis before specific tests or in cases when these tests cannot be carried out.
采用特征区间法对48例潜伏梅毒患者和191例血清学检测假阳性患者的梅毒血清学检测结果进行统计处理，已揭示出抗梅毒螺旋体抗体、沉淀素和反应素滴度的特异性及相对特异性区间；这些区间使得在进行特异性检测之前或在无法进行这些检测的情况下进行初步鉴别诊断成为可能。
