The present report deals with an investigation concerning the distribution of dental pathology in an Oslo population. The diagnoses are based on roentgenological findings in orthopantomograms from 216 individuals participating in the screening. The investigation contributes to knowledge about pathological conditions of the dentition and jawbones of a Norwegian population. Such knowledge is important for the assessment of the need of surgical intervention when programs for optimal oral health are planned.
本报告涉及一项关于奥斯陆人群牙齿病理学分布的调查。诊断基于216名参与筛查者的口腔全景X线片的影像学检查结果。该调查有助于了解挪威人群牙列和颌骨的病理状况。在规划最佳口腔健康计划时，此类知识对于评估手术干预的必要性具有重要意义。
