[Nutrition and physical exercise in diabetes mellitus].

Abstract
Correct food intake and physical exercise, together with insulin or oral antidiabetics constitute the basic triad of diabetes treatment. The authors discuss the general rules of dietetic measures in diabetes and review the importance of physical exercise, its indications and limitations in the metabolic control of the diabetic subject.
