A preparation technique for whole-body sections of small laboratory animals (mouse, rat) is introduced comprising, cutting, drying and fixation of sections, staining and mounting. Sections can be used for whole body autoradiography as well as for histochemical, immunohistochemical, anatomical, pathological and distributional analytical evaluations.
