This study evaluated the gingival response and ability of a glass ionomer cement to retain stainless steel crowns in primary molars. A total of 152 crowns were evaluated from 2 to 12 months. None of the crowns were lost or loosened during the evaluation period and no discomfort or adverse gingival response was noted or reported.
