Electroacupuncture (EAP) has been used in the management of schoolchildren with slight myopia and of senior schoolchildren with high myopia. A follow-up of 5 years has demonstrated that EAP has stopped the progress of myopia, normalized the accommodation system, improved the natural vision acuity and other visual functions.
