[Argon laser trabeculoplasty in the treatment of primary closed-angle glaucoma].

The author demonstrates on 11 clinical cases the possibilities and value of argon laser trabeculoplasty in the treatment of primary glaucoma with a closed angle as part of combined laser therapy. In combination with laser gonioplasty argon laser iridotomy and photomydriasis, argon laser trabeculoplasty plays an important role in the normalization of intraocular pressure. Compensation was achieved in 63.6% (7 eyes), the resulting pressure in compensated eyes was 2.11 +/- 0.16 kPa and the outflow improved by 150%.
