A nurses' leader has paid tribute to the work of Scotland's first NHS Chief Executive, Don Cruickshank, whose appointment as Director General of Telecommunications was announced by Michael Heseltine, President of the Board of Trade last week. Mr Cruikshank, who will take up his new post on April 1, 'always maintained a lively interest in nursing issues,' RCN Scottish Board Secretary June Andrew's told Nursing Standard last week.
