Abstract
The Royal College of Nursing, the Royal College of Midwives, the Scottish Health Visitors' Association and the Community and District Nurses' Association met Scottish health minister Lord James Douglas-Hamilton last week. They told the minister about low morale among Scottish nurses and the unions' fears of nurse shortages.
