We report herein the syntheses and investigation of the magnetic properties of a Co compound, a series of trinuclear CoLn (Ln = Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy) complexes, and a Co complex. The homometallic Co core was obtained from the reaction of Ln(NO)·xHO/Co(NO)·6HO/Hvab/EtN in a 0.5:0.5:1:2 ratio in methanol. Variation in synthetic conditions was necessary to get the desired Co-Ln complexes. The Co-Ln assembly was synthesized from Ln(NO)·xHO/Co(OAc)·4HO/Hvab/NaOMe in a 0.4:0.5:1:1 ratio in methanol. The isostructural CoLn complexes have a core structure with the general formula CoLn(Hvab)(NO)·MeOH·HO, (where Hvab = 2-[(2-hydroxymethyl-phenylimino)-methyl]-6-methoxy-phenol) with simultaneous crystallization of Co complex in each reaction. The magnetic investigation of these complexes reveals that both homometallic complexes and four Co-Ln complexes (except Co-Nd) display behavior characteristic of single molecule magnets.
我们在此报告一种钴化合物、一系列三核CoLn(Ln = Nd、Sm、Gd、Tb、Dy)配合物以及一种钴配合物的合成及其磁性质研究。同金属钴核是通过Ln(NO)·xH₂O/Co(NO)·6H₂O/Hvab/Et₃N以0.5:0.5:1:2的比例在甲醇中反应得到的。为了得到所需的Co-Ln配合物,合成条件的变化是必要的。Co-Ln组装体是通过Ln(NO)·xH₂O/Co(OAc)·4H₂O/Hvab/NaOMe以0.4:0.5:1:1的比例在甲醇中合成的。同构的CoLn配合物具有通式为[CoLn(Hvab)₂(NO₃)] (NO₃)·MeOH·H₂O的核心结构,(其中Hvab = 2-[(2-羟甲基-苯基亚氨基)-甲基]-6-甲氧基-苯酚),且在每个反应中同时结晶出钴配合物。对这些配合物的磁性研究表明,同金属配合物和四种Co-Ln配合物(除Co-Nd外)均表现出单分子磁体的行为特征。
