Intramyometrial coring is a useful method to reduce the size and increase the accessibility to the fundus uteri during vaginal hysterectomy, avoiding unnecessary traction on the utero-ovarian pedicles. A circumferential incision of the isthmus, 5 millimeters deep, gives access to an avascular plane between the myometrial mass and the superficial muscular layer and serosa of the uterus. Coring is easy, safe, non-hemorrhagic and allows the extension of indications of the vaginal route for hysterectomy.
肌层内挖心法是一种在阴道子宫切除术中减小子宫大小并增加子宫底部暴露度的有用方法，可避免对子宫卵巢蒂进行不必要的牵拉。在峡部做一个5毫米深的环形切口，可进入子宫肌层团块与子宫浅表肌层和浆膜之间的无血管平面。挖心操作简便、安全、不出血，并可扩大阴道式子宫切除术的适应证范围。
