The aim of this case report was to study that headache maybe the initial symptom in Rasmussen's syndrome (RS).
Headache has not yet been reported as prodromal symptom.
We studied a case of RS in which the patient experienced a recurring headache for about one year prior to the onset of partial seizures.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) results were normal when the headache first occurred and showed left brain atrophy three years later. It was difficult to relieve the patient's headache, even once seizures were controlled.
This case demonstrates that the initial symptom of RS may involve only headache.
本病例报告旨在研究头痛可能是拉斯穆森综合征（RS）的首发症状。
尚未有头痛作为前驱症状的报道。
我们研究了一例RS患者，该患者在部分性癫痫发作前约一年反复出现头痛。
头痛首次出现时磁共振成像（MRI）结果正常，三年后显示左脑萎缩。即使癫痫得到控制，患者的头痛也难以缓解。
本病例表明RS的首发症状可能仅为头痛。
