Pyrolytic gas chromatography, common in analyses of various biological materials and other substances which give on pyrolysis gaseous products, was not used hitherto in clinical practice in analyses of urinary concrements. The authors tested the possibility to use this analytical procedure when investigating the chemical nature of concrements. They used a gas chromatograph Chrom 4 made in Czechoslovakia which has a special pyrolyzer. For evaluation of the pyrograms they used a computing integrator SP 4100 of Spectro Physics Co.
