[Tuberculosis of the upper respiratory tract].

A patient with tuberculosis of the upper respiratory tract is presented. This disease is--because of the preventive measures, obligatory vaccination of newborns and specific chemotherapy--a very rare occurrence today. Yet the disease may represent the diagnostic problem. In differential diagnosis many other ulcerous and granulomatous diseases especially sarcoidosis and malignant disease should be taken into account. Together with the detailed clinical treatment for establishing the diagnosis the biopsy and pathohistological analysis should be performed.
