Two groups of workers were examined in hospital conditions: 77 patients were subjected to combined effect of methanol and carbon monoxide vapors in doses not exceeding maximum permissible concentrations; 31 workers (control group) having no contact with these substances. Rheoencephalography, temporal and brachial oscillography, sphygmomanometry were used in the examination. It is suggested that maximum permissible concentrations of methanol and carbon monoxide concentrations should be reconsidered under conditions of the their combined effect on the human body.
