Twenty-one patients with scaphoid fractures treated by internal fixation with the Herbert screw are reviewed. Nine patients presented acute fractures and twelve had fractures with delayed or non-union. The results of these two kinds of lesions are analyzed following the criteria established by Herbert and Fisher in 1984. This type of internal fixation gives excellent results in isolated lesions of the scaphoid provided it is correctly executed.
对21例采用Herbert螺钉内固定治疗的舟骨骨折患者进行了回顾性研究。9例为急性骨折，12例为骨折延迟愈合或不愈合。按照Herbert和Fisher在1984年制定的标准，分析了这两种损伤的结果。只要操作正确，这种内固定方式对于孤立的舟骨损伤能取得极佳的效果。
