The clinical course, hysteroscopic and histological picture of endometrial structure analysed in 150 females, aged 48-75 yrs, with endometrial fibroglandular polyps demonstrated the necessity of polyps removal only under the hysteroscopic monitoring. It was stated that in postmenopausal females who had sustained fibroglandular polypotomy the employment of hormonal therapy could hardly be a success in case of atrophic endometrial changes.
对150名年龄在48 - 75岁、患有子宫内膜纤维腺性息肉的女性的临床病程、宫腔镜检查结果及子宫内膜结构的组织学图像进行分析后表明，仅在宫腔镜监测下切除息肉是必要的。研究指出，对于接受过纤维腺性息肉切除术的绝经后女性，若存在子宫内膜萎缩性改变，激素治疗很难取得成功。
