[Repair of soft tissue defects in the hand and forearm with transplantation of free vascularized complex tissue].

Autotransplantation of free vascularized tissue from foot to repair the soft tissue defect of hand and forearm was performed in 94 patients, being 64 urgent and 30 selected operations. The operations were totally successful in 89 cases (94.5%) and failed in 5. The advantages and indications of, the superiority and precautions of this operation were discussed in detail.
