Three cases of Schnyder Crystalline dystrophy of the cornea were reported, one of them was in the incipient stage, the other was in the advanced stage. Both eyes of one advanced case underwent lamellar keratoplasty. Corneal buttons were examined histopathologically. A positive staining was found in the stroma by oil red dye. Electron microscopically , multiple small lucent vacuoles and rod-like structures were present in the stroma. Elevation of total cholesterol and phosphatide serum was found in two out of three cases.
报告了3例施奈德角膜结晶状营养不良病例，其中1例处于初期，另1例处于晚期。1例晚期病例的双眼均接受了板层角膜移植术。对角膜植片进行了组织病理学检查。油红染料染色显示基质呈阳性。电子显微镜检查发现基质中有多个小的透明空泡和杆状结构。3例中有2例血清总胆固醇和磷脂升高。
