Abstract

Nevus comedonicus (NC), a rare skin ailment with an aggregation of dilated follicular orifices filled with keratinous material, is difficult to treat. Several drugs have been assessed for the treatment of NC, but with limited success. Surgery requires much experience and the recurrence rate is high. Various types of laser have been tried, with promising outcomes. A 54-year-old male patient with bilateral facial NC was admitted on July 8, 2014. A coin-sized area was first treated successfully with ultrapulse CO laser. The remaining lesions were treated during three subsequent sessions at 2-week intervals. There were no complications. There was no recurrence after 2 years. This case suggests that ultrapulse CO laser could efficiently alleviate NC. Ultrapulse CO laser treatment should be further studied for its application in the treatment of NC.

摘要

粉刺痣(NC)是一种罕见的皮肤病,表现为扩张的毛囊口聚集有角质物质,难以治疗。已有多种药物被评估用于治疗粉刺痣,但成效有限。手术需要丰富经验且复发率高。已尝试过各种类型的激光,效果良好。一名54岁双侧面部粉刺痣男性患者于2014年7月8日入院。首先用超脉冲CO激光成功治疗了硬币大小的区域。其余病变在随后的三个疗程中每隔2周进行治疗。未出现并发症。2年后无复发。该病例表明超脉冲CO激光可有效缓解粉刺痣。超脉冲CO激光治疗在粉刺痣治疗中的应用应进一步研究。
