Cross lip vermilion flap is a myomucosal flap that uses lower red lip to augment deficient upper lip vermilion. Technical note that helps in imitating upper lip tubercle structure is presented. Appropriate patient selection to prevent unfavorable results such as color mismatch, local vermilion excess, and lower lip thinning are presented. Indirect benefits of this flap for decreasing upper incisor tooth show and better balance of upper/lower lip thickness are discussed.
交叉唇红瓣是一种肌黏膜瓣，利用下唇红唇来增加上唇红唇的不足。本文介绍了有助于模仿上唇结节结构的技术要点。还介绍了合适的患者选择方法，以防止出现诸如颜色不匹配、局部红唇过多和下唇变薄等不良结果。讨论了该瓣对于减少上颌切牙显露以及改善上下唇厚度平衡的间接益处。
