Abstract

The objective of this review is to identify the effectiveness of telehealth in improving correctional facility health care. The outcomes of the review will include the primary outcomes of access to health care and costs associated with health care and the secondary outcome of virologic suppression.Specifically, the review question is: What is the effect of telehealth compared to usual care on improving correctional facility health care and decreasing costs in correctional facility health care?
