We report a case of a primary small cell cancer of the bladder with characteristic cytological, histological, histochemical, and ultrastructural features. The patient refused radical surgery and the tumour was treated by external radiation and chemotherapy. The residual tumour was electroresected transurethrally. After 15 months' follow-up a recurrent tumour was resected, but metastases were not found. Aggressive surgery as well as early institution of radiotherapy or chemotherapy are needed because of the aggressive nature of the tumour.
我们报告一例具有特征性细胞学、组织学、组织化学和超微结构特征的原发性膀胱小细胞癌。患者拒绝根治性手术，肿瘤接受了外照射和化疗。残余肿瘤经尿道电切。随访15个月后，复发性肿瘤被切除，但未发现转移。由于肿瘤具有侵袭性，需要积极的手术以及早期进行放疗或化疗。
