The nomenclature of periodontal diseases has undergone repeated alterations in the course of time. An important reason for this was the difficulty of reconciling the clinical symptomatology, which must always be the basis of a classification, with the nature of the tissue changes, i.e. with the pathogenetic principles underlying them.
牙周疾病的命名在历史进程中经历了多次变更。一个重要原因是,要使作为分类基础的临床症状学与组织变化的本质,即其 underlying 的发病机制相协调存在困难。
