Abstract
A biliary metabolite of bucolome in rat was isolated and purified by column chromatography. The metabolite has been identified as bucolome N3-glucuronide by chemical and spectroscopic data. This study is the first to show an N-glucuronide to be the major metabolite of barbiturates in rat bile.
