INTRODUCTION
Late-onset systemic lupus erythematosus represents a specific sub-group of the disorder, beginning after 50 years of age. The incidence is rarer and the course of the disease is considered to be more benign. Digital gangrene is an uncommon complication of systemic lupus erythematosus reported especially among middle-aged patients with long disease duration.
OBSERVATION
We report a 53-year-old man, who presented with systemic lupus erythematosus revealed by an extensive digital gangrene.
CONCLUSION
Digital gangrene is a rare complication of late onset systemic lupus erythematosus. Clinicians should be aware of this complication in order to initiate early and aggressive treatment.
引言
迟发性系统性红斑狼疮是该疾病的一个特定亚组，发病于50岁之后。其发病率较低，疾病进程被认为相对良性。指端坏疽是系统性红斑狼疮的一种罕见并发症，尤其在病程较长的中年患者中报道较多。
观察
我们报告一名53岁男性，因广泛指端坏疽而被诊断为系统性红斑狼疮。
结论
指端坏疽是迟发性系统性红斑狼疮的罕见并发症。临床医生应意识到这一并发症，以便尽早开始积极治疗。
