[Neuropharmacologic analysis of compensatory processes after lesioning the head of the caudate nucleus].

Recovery of lost abilities for generalization and elementary abstraction following lesion of caudate head, was studied in cats. Injections of psychotrophic agents for dophaminergic and GABAergic systems seemed to activate the compensation of the generalization function.
