Abstract

In this study, ultrasonic assisted synthesis of Pd-Ni/FeO core-shell nanoalloys is reported. Unique reaction condition was prepared by ultrasonic irradiation, releasing the stored energy in the collapsed bubbles and heats the bubble contents that leads to Pd(II) and Ni(II) reduction. Co-precipitation method was applied for the synthesis of FeO nanoparticles (NPs). Immobilized solution was produced by sonicating the aqueous mixture of FeO and mercaptosuccinic acid to obtain Pd-Ni alloys on FeO magnetic NP cores. The catalytic activity of the synthesized Pd-Ni/FeO core-shells was investigated in the Suzuki-Miyaura CC coupling reaction and 4-nitrophenol reduction, which exhibited a high catalytic activity in both reactions. These magnetic NPs can be separated from the reaction mixture by external magnetic field. This strategy is simple, economical and promising for industrial applications.

本研究报道了超声辅助合成Pd-Ni/FeO核壳纳米合金。通过超声辐照制备了独特的反应条件,释放了坍塌气泡中储存的能量并加热气泡内容物,从而导致Pd(II)和Ni(II)还原。采用共沉淀法合成FeO纳米颗粒(NPs)。通过超声处理FeO与巯基琥珀酸的水性混合物来制备固定溶液,以在FeO磁性NP核上获得Pd-Ni合金。在铃木-宫浦碳-碳偶联反应和4-硝基苯酚还原反应中研究了合成的Pd-Ni/FeO核壳的催化活性,其在这两个反应中均表现出高催化活性。这些磁性NPs可通过外部磁场从反应混合物中分离出来。该策略简单、经济且在工业应用方面具有前景。
