[Chronic fractures and pseudarthroses of the scaphoid bone of the hand. Experiences with the Ender scaphoid bone plate].

We report on 37 patients with traumatic cysts and pseudoarthroses of the scaphoid, who were treated with Ender's scaphoid plate. Owing to technical errors there was no osseous healing in 4 cases (10.8%). The main advantage of this method is the brief immobilization period.
