Abstract
Sickle cell anaemia is of considerable clinical importance in parts of Africa. Special attention is drawn to skeletal involvement due to sickle cell anaemia. There is no specific therapy. Surgery is required if superinfection or a large sequestration is present.

镰状细胞贫血在非洲部分地区具有相当重要的临床意义。镰状细胞贫血引起的骨骼受累受到特别关注。目前尚无特效疗法。如果存在重复感染或大量脾肿大，则需要进行手术。
