[Treatment of Tourette syndrome].

A total of 150 patients with Tourette's syndrome were treated by different neurotropic drugs. A conclusion has been made that pimozide (orap) is the drug of choice in the treatment of this syndrome. In cases of drug resistance the author recommends the use of cholinolytic comatose therapy. Long-acting neuroleptics have also been effective.
