The new nursing associate role will sit alongside those of other healthcare support workers, including registered nurses, in the delivery of hands-on patient care. A second wave of around 2,000 nursing associates is being trained by providers across England, and Health Education England has filmed videos of trainees explaining their aspirations and their experience of training so far.
