Living the art is a disciplinary grounded knowledge contained in the humanbecoming paradigm honoring persons with true presence. The evidence and healthcare milieu may change; however, true presence brings new insights with illuminating meaning, shifting rhythms, and inspiring transcendence as nurses bear witness to the changing beliefs or patterns of persons, families, and communities. The author in this paper reviews a journey that focuses on living the art.
